Keygems is a small business which deals in local Australian sapphires and zircons. All sapphires listed on these pages have been mined on the Central Queensland Gemfields, which used to be a major producer of commercial sapphires. Blue, green, parti-colour and black star sapphires are the main stones encountered, some fancy colour sapphires do occur, but are not common. We make a small amount of
Sapphire Jewellery using blue, green, yellow, parti-colour
sapphires and zircons. Keygems is also involved in gem cutting and
heat treating of sapphires |
